The 52 Project 2016: 6/5221:44:00
I have always wanted to go and check out the new Winton Wetlands just up the road from town. The bike tracks and the scenery sounded like the perfect place to visit and wear out a few kids last week. Sasha and I loaded up the Venga Bus and headed out there. All was well until Hugh didn't like the gravel to ride on and Edie was not even willing to try and scoot. Sigh!!! We walked/rode about 100m, checked out the water drain, read a couple of signs and headed back into town to do the Lake walk instead. I might have to save the Winton adventure for another day.
We also celebrated Pop's 97th birthday on Friday with some coffee and cake at his place. An opportunity for Edie to blow out the candles would never go amiss. Notice the new hair cut? She thought she'd play a little game of hairdressers the evening before whilst I was occupied giving Ollie a bath. She cut off so much hair! There was no way I was even going to try and fix it, so we headed to professionals and now she has a bit of groovy layering and a bit of a fringe. God Bless! Hopefully we can most definitely tick that rite of passage off the list.
The ever so precious 'First Day' photos have also commenced for the year with Hugh starting Kinder.
