An 'Aroona' Easter 201508:12:00
These pics sum up our Easter Sunday magnificently.
Family, food, wine and very happy kids.
You can't ask for a more beautiful setting than at Cam's aunts house at Aroona. (Click on the link, you will LOVE it)
Autumn has just starting to do its thing in the garden there and weather wise; we couldn't have asked for a more perfect, warm and sunny day.
I wandered off a few times to capture parts of the garden too. I couldn't help myself. Zinnias, Maples and Rosehips…just beautiful.
We didn't do any Easter Egg or wine hunting as my last post may have suggested. The day just happened that way. Simple, no fuss, and just very relaxing. My kind of afternoon.
The annual Easter Family pics at the farm before we headed out for lunch. I actually really love this one.
Gorgeous table settings.
What a spot for a table setting.
Four Generations in this pic. Pop, his boys, their boys and Edie!!
The yummiest lunch Ive had for ages.
Leaves from the Maple Tree
Lady of the day - Cam's Aunt Margot.
Need a red? A table solely dedicated to the red variety. My kind of table.
Happy kids exploring all day long. I just realised thats a fly on the kids head!! ha ha
We didn't know if it was a water rat, a snake or a turtle so the investigators ventured out onto the water. Turns out it was a turtle.
Other wildlife that was kept in check in the late afternoon was a wasps nest in the middle of the dam amongst the roots of the Willow Trees. It wouldn't be a Ross function without some sort of manly destruction of sorts, so the boys though it would be a good idea to throw a petrol bomb down the nest and light it.
Cam's cousin opted to get in close and personal with the wasps so some protective gear was required. As we are all for safety on the farm and so professional in our wasp removal strategy, the outfit consisted of a unicorn onesy suit, a pram net, gumboots, some gardening gloves, and a heap of gaffa tape. OHS approved!!
Ross boys 1; Wasps: 0
The last of the Zinnia's
Sunset - No more daylight savings. Sigh….

I wish I could do it all again tomorrow.
