'A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2015'
Seeming as I missed the first two weeks of the project, my first instalment covers some pics I managed to capture whilst we were away throughout those weeks on our beach holiday down the coast.
Hugh: You loved the water at the beach these last holidays. You would have stayed in it, splashing, squealing and laughing away all day if you could. Bounds and bounds of energy.
Edith: Always a close step behind your big brother. You and Hugh have so much fun together. With a quick glimpse at the camera, a pause in time right before you tackled that Sunny Boy.
Oliver: My little Michelin man. Here you are at five months of age with your little cousin. So, so dependant on me and so, so adorable. You always have a big smile for anyone who gives you the time of day. You can nearly sit up all by yourself. You have two bottom teeth and you are eating everything.
I have decided to dedicate Sundays to the 52 project. It is something I've wanted to do for a while so I can get cracking on this camera of ours. Something consistent on the blog at least.
This project has been floating around on a few blogs and was originally devised by Jodi from Practising Simplicity. You can read a bit more about it all over on her blog page here. She certainly can take a photo and I hope I might learn a trick or two about portrait taking from her. This is also a brilliant way to capture the kids as they grow and change ever so quickly and then later create some books to have as keepsakes at the end of the year.
I hope you enjoy the start to your week here at The Windmill Paddock.
