Christmas Snippets 201415:26:00
Hello again and a Happy New Year to you.
As I find myself with a few solitary minutes of blogging peace, I thought id share a few memories of Christmas Day 2014 whilst soaking up this view with old mate...
It was a lovely, hot sunny day out at the farm with Cam's family. I loved that we didn't have to travel anywhere and we could just be in one place which made for a very relaxing and enjoyable day.
The camera wasn't out much and that was intentional on my part. There was too much precious time with the kids to be enjoyed and in between feeding and putting sleepy babies to rest, there was really only time to eat the delicious spread of food and drink myself merry over a few Chardonnays under the shade of the big Plain Tree.
It was the night before Christmas and all through the house…Santa has arrived.
Grandma's handmade Santa sacks for all her grandchildren full to the brim, all ready to be discovered.
The dinosaur man playing with his new toys with Dad. He was very happy to be able to dig up some dinosaur bones first thing.
Cousins. The tribe of five. A rare photo opportunity with them all together.
Pretty flowers to adorn the table.
I was very happy with how this table setting came out.
More pretty arrangements for the table.
After lunch outside under the shade of the big Plain Tree.
Cam's cousin made these gorgeous little gingerbread houses. They were delicious.
The all important Christmas lunch ready to be served.
Fruit Salad. Yummy Yummy!! Controversial, but it paired brilliantly with the turkey. Cam wasn't convinced and thought we were having dessert a bit too early.
Hope you had a great day filled with lasting memories like I did.
What did you get up to and how was your New Years?
