The Windmill Wine-Down: TGIF07:48:00
We made it to the end of the working week yet again. Yippee!! Hopefully you have lots of fun stuff to do over the weekend.
Cam has a bye for Football (fist pumping the air) this weekend so I am hoping to get my picture shelf wall drilled into place, we will be replacing blown light globes, putting up a new curtain rod in the spare room and maybe some chook proofing of the veggie patch, weather pending. Dont you always have lots of jobs lined up for the handyman of the house?
I also aim to read the paper with a nice hot cup of coffee.
I thought I might also take a breather from posting for a week or two or maybe even three. I have a craft project that is not getting done as I am hooked on this caper and spending way too much time on social media. Gees I love it here though. Ok I may still be around on Facebook. I also have some wine to photograph and posts to prepare to showcase our latest vintage at Tarzali Vineyard and I have some professional-ising, fancying up stuff to do with our wine ordering system. Lots and lots.
Oh and Im having a baby for goodness sakes!!
Cant forget that one!
The last few months have been really good around here at The Windmill Paddock. I feel like Im getting somewhere and you, my readers. (I know you are there as I have well passed my 10,000 page views) You all make it worthwhile. Ill be back soon as a mother of three under three. Yikes!!
If not before. I might not be able to help myself.
Anyhoo...Here's a friday funny for you to kickstart the weekend.
It reminds me of my tiramisu making days. I was questioned one Christmas Eve by my mother as I was soaking the sponge fingers in a special alcoholic / coffee brew.
She thought the sponge fingers were looking a bit on the dry side.
I looked up and remarked that the recipe said to dip a third of the biscuits.
To which she replied, 'the recipe is referring to the quantity of biscuits not the depth to dip the biscuit.
Some mother's do have em'!!
See, I can always relate everything back to wine., oh and I stick to chocolate ripple cake from now on. You can't stuff that up!!
Thanks for visiting today.
See you soon
