Autumn in the hood.08:10:00
Yep, that is the Mama's and the Papa's right there and I'm finding myself humming it a fair bit as I stroll around town lately. A sentimental song at that and it has many fun memories to match but that my friends is a post for another day. Lets just stick with the autumn program here today but let me just say WHAT A BRILLIANT SONG!!!
Its autumn and this is the time when much of the street trees around town are really putting on a show. Its eye candy everywhere you look. In just the last two days the trees in my own front yard alone have pretty much gone from green to golden yellows and reds. Its amazing how quick it all happens. Gotta love nature and its at it best right now.
So just before the next big winter rain deluge arrives along with those gusty winds and cause all the leaves to disappear for yet another six months, I have been meandering and snapping away the last couple of days all over town capturing its autumn glory.
I can tell you right now that my
developing photography skills camera has not captured how magnificent some parts of the town look at the moment as winter draws closer and closer. The changing colours of all the street trees as I mentioned are beautiful. I did the manual thing on the canon this time rather than the easy automatic option I usually choose and these are some of the prettier ones that I captured and wanted to share with you today.
I didn't get a lot of time to play with the camera settings as I had the two impatient kids in the pram giving orders to move along, but I think I'm picking up a few things as I go and am improving...I was also getting a few funny 'what the hell is she doing' looks from passers by along the way so I was a bit embarrassed by this as I am certainly no professional, nor do I look the part, but I really enjoyed it and that's all that matters I guess.
I have also captured a few autumn shots at the farm on Instagram on the weekend. You can see these pretty awesome phone pics here.
If you know of any informative, helpful photography sites, online tutorials or even bloggers with all the tips and tricks then please do let me know as I am very keen to learn this caper with my Canon 700D.
Thanks for visiting.
Hope you are loving Autumn; or even Spring where you live.
