Holiday flashbacks #108:44:00
I am pleased to say that no, I havent fallen down a mineshaft since last post and that I am back in business, well a little bit at least, here on the blog.
Im still writing a million posts, its just that they are still in my head. Ive been googling and stalking and reading heaps for inspiration, and taking lots and lots of pictures on the camera. All for the blog and all in good time of course. Im thinking it'll all come to fruition, along with my blogging motivation in Febuary. Yep Feb. New month, back to routine. I am so still in holiday mode.
The cricket and tennis on pretty much every evening is taking up precious blogging time at the moment too. Oh and the heat. OMG!!! So hot. So all in good time peeps. Stay with me wont you!!!
I have a heap of photos as I have mentioned and I thought I would like to share some of these with you before its the middle of the year already. Looking at pics of someone else's kids opening Christmas presents in June, quite frankly would make me skip to the next blog on my list too!!
Here is a weeeeeee snap shot of Xmas 2013.
As for all the build up, parties, baking, shopping and socialising. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!!
The city always looks great at Christmas.
After waiting 45 minutes to see the Myer windows, the kids had had enough so we took a cheats view of the windows. I don't know why we just didn't do that from the start.
Christmas table decorating.
A December sunset.
Our successful stall at our local Christmas market. We are going ahead again for February to.
Opening presents on Christmas morning. Hugh loved his elephant and Edie loved her puppy. Lots of happy and excited reactions from both of the kids which makes it all worthwhile.
Places set for lunch with family on mums side. We had a traditional hot roast and vegies. Yummo!!!
We even snuck Nanna out of her nursing home for a few hours before lunch. She looks amazing. Dad thought he'd get a snap with her for this pic. I wonder if she will even remember?
My sister Cecilia, yours truly and Edith.
Hugh getting his uncles on board with his new Buzz lightyear kit up...
Chilling before tea time at my Dad's brothers house on Christmas night.
