Around the traps: Echuca style20:30:00
A tad overdue I know but its been flat out at the Windmill Paddock. Don't ask me what I've been doing though, somehow the days are just passing so very quickly.
I uploaded the last lot of camera pics onto the computer and here are a few of the best ones from the wedding in Echuca, the garden of course and some of the kids.
A windy but no less a beautiful and fun day in Echuca for the wedding of my cousin Nicholas and his dashing bride Amy. It was a lovely service down by the mighty Murray river followed by reception celebrations at a little haunt known as Radcliffes. It was great to catch up...again... with all the family. (Remember we just had a wedding on Nov 3) I just love seeing everyone all dressed up and checking out yet another awesome and different wedding venue.
We are family....The first time in a while all my immediate family were in tow for a family event.
Edie in her brand new hat.
The tomatoes are growing beautifully and I've even picked a few early ripeners.
It is always so nice to see these two playing happily together and laughing. So much better than stealing toys off one another and then that terrible high pitched 'no' squealing that always follows.
Its official. The squad of Barnevelders are all roosters. Not so good for us, but I'm sure we will find them all lovely homes. In the meantime they are de-bugging the garden and veggie patches and are a joy to watch meandering around the backyard.
I love my christmas lights but god help me if I can take a good picture of them at night. Help, tips please? I think I may need to purchase a tripod and sit through a few more online tutorial sessions with Canon. That diagonal streak of coloured lights is the reflection of the window lights on the car. I thought it looked pretty cool. I was using the boot as a tripod.
So I shopped until I dropped yesterday at Highpoint Shopping Centre. I was ONLY there for four and a hlf hours but got pretty much all my shopping done. Yesssss!! I couldn't have fit more into the shopping trolley if I tried. It was full, full, full to the brim. Highpoint has changed a lot since I was there last. It is huuuuuge and I think I need another day just to do some clothes shopping. I didn't even get to look in Zara, Top Shop or the biggest Country Road store I think I have ever seen.
We have had a family reunion for mums side of the family today. The sun was shining and it was really good to catch up with a few cousins and see all their kids.
I am really looking forward to a Christmas dinner party I am hosting at home next week. I have added a few bits and bobs to my table decorating stash so hopefully it all comes together so I can show it all off and post about here next week. We are certainly getting into the Christmas spirit at our place.
Im also anxious but excited about the Windmill Wine-down. Who knows how this will go every Friday but im going to give it a red hot go and thats all I can do. Your feedback here will be extremely welcome. I've even got a wine review lined up to do already. Assistance always required for these ones.
What have you been up to the last week?
Are you gearing up and getting into the Christmas spirit? Some of my stalking says some of you are. Love it. Keep it coming.
Have a great weekend
Thanks for visiting today.
