All is calm tonight20:49:00
Wow-Wee.! What a fortnight it has been. I feel like I have just been playing catch up, catch up and more catch up but never really catching up.
We have had the Gastro visit us, a couple of very busy social weekends in between and then the kids and I are just back from a 4 day visit to mum and dads in Melbourne and I'm feeling like right now I could easily turn into a bit of an alco if you get my jist. (Bus-y! As I take a sip of my Tarzali Neds Red.)
I am very grateful, don't get me wrong. I have been spoilt over the last week. I have been able to visit a cousin or two, a stint at highpoint shopping centre (don't get me started :)) and the kids have been spoilt and entertained big time and I have been able to do pretty much nothing. Thank you so much mum for doing my ironing today. God Bless!
I think it all boils down to the kids. Their routines and sleeping patterns and quarters are all out of whack and their grizzling, too busy to eat thing they do, being awake toooooooo long, attention needs, all the attention and lack of sleep is starting to catch up. Don't even get me started on the housework and the impending mountains of washing. Sheesh!!
All is calm however, finally tonight.
I am embracing the calm.
I am also getting excited about the wedding that we have the lovely honour of attending tomorrow.
It will be the 1st time Cam and I will be leaving the kids overnight since Edie was born, Ive got a new frock, I know I'm going to take lots of photos (gear up blog) and Im feelin it me waters that its going to be a great day.
I will leave you on that note and also with some happy snaps from a place I used to
still call home.
So nice to see them playing together.

The garden always takes on a beautiful dimension when the sun comes out.
Pretty candelabra from what Cam calls 'The Pool Room'. It so isn't. ha ha
Love that Bush radio in the background. Its always on playing oldies tunes. I wonder where those sweet pea blooms are from?
Practising camera settings with the sunset light in the bathroom.*
Have a smashing long weekend.
Hope you pick a winner in the Cup and are also enjoying some calm.
What are you looking forward to doing in the next few weeks?
Thanks for visiting today
*please note the word practicing. ha ha
