Hi there. Its already looking like a bumper month here at the Windmill Paddock.
Gees I love this time of year. Except for the bloody wind!
Flowers just keep popping up everywhere in the garden and i'm loving it.
We have started putting in some of our summer vegetable crop.
I have never had any success with carrots before. Apparently if you upset the tap root upon planting then you may end up with weird shaped carrots. We shall see.
The always successful capsicum crop.
We love our tomatoes
Some marigolds for some companion planting and pest management. I put a fox glove in the bottom corner just for fun.
The current crop of broad beans are growing really well. Its looking like a bumper crop this season.
My beloved sweet peas are about to bloom all over the place. They smell so beautiful.
...and we have some sugar snap peas and a bit of basil thrown in the mix.
Edie is 1 next week. I cant believe a year has flown by so quickly. I feel a birthday cake coming on!!!
We are also heading west to the Mallee this month to finally visit Cam's sister. She has only been there for like...three years. Im looking forward to it as I haven't really explored that side of the state before.
The wheels are in motion for our wine stalls at our upcoming local festival next month. Getting a bit excited about that one. The paperwork and all important liquor licence organising is just about done and we have our gazebo in at the sign writers getting all prettied up.
Told you its going to be a busy one.
I finally started posting on the Facebook page if you are interested in having a look. All this social media to get on top of I tell you.
Go and have a look and click on 'like' for me if you can. That would be wonderful. The link is on the blog.
How's your October shaping up?
